Health Guarantee
Sadies Southern Standard Health Guarantee & Contract
Breeder guarantees that all of our puppies are healthy at the time of purchase and have passed a veterinarian wellness check. Puppies will be current on all veterinarian recommended vaccinations and de-wormings. We also require that all of our new puppy owners take their puppy to a veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery, for a puppy checkup. This is to not only ensure your new puppy's health and welfare, but to also help establish a strong life long relationship with your veterinarian. If during the examination a serious health problem is noted, Breeder must receive a written statement from Buyer’s veterinarian within five days from date of examination. Upon verification by Breeder’s veterinarian of stated health problem, puppy must be returned to Breeder at Buyer’s expense. When available, the Buyer will be provided with another puppy of the same sex and quality/value when such puppy becomes available.

Hereditary Illness Guarantee
All of our puppies are guaranteed against any serious, life threatening and crippling genetic defects until the age of (1) one year. If a life threatening genetic defect (examples - grade 4 heart murmur, liver shunt, von Willebrand disease, moderate/severe hip dysplasia, etc.) occurs within that time frame, written verification from Buyer’s veterinarian, along with their contact information is necessary. Penn HIP evaluations are required if there is a hip problem. Breeder does not accept OFA results as sound proof of a hip problem. Breeder’s veterinarian must agree with diagnosis and severity or replacement is not required. The Buyer must return the puppy to the care of breeder and will be either given another puppy of equal value or receive a reimbursement of incurred veterinary expenses associated with the treatment of this condition, up to the purchase price of the puppy. The final choice of replacing the puppy or reimbursing the expenses, shall be breeder’s discretion. At no time will the Buyer receive a refund/reimbursement that equals a dollar amount larger than the original purchase price of the puppy. The shipping and/or transportation cost of the replacement puppy will be at the buyer's expense.

Day to Day Care
New puppy owners assume all responsibility for the day-to-day health, temperament, and treatment of their new puppy. They must also agree to keep their puppy up-to-date on all veterinarian, state, and federally required inoculations and parasite preventatives, including flea, tick, and heart worm medications. Puppies must also be fed a high quality puppy food, we feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice. NEVER give puppies treats or foods made in China, these have been known to cause liver failure and other severe health problems in dogs. Our puppies must be provided with a healthy, clean, safe home environment. Breeder strongly urges buyer to have puppy enrolled in a basic obedience class by 6 months, this not only helps with obedience training but provides a great socializing experience for pup outside its normal environment. If problems arise concerning training or behavioral issues buyers should consult with the breeder. This contract is null and void if the new owners do not continue with the puppy’s vaccination series, fails to see a qualified veterinarian when the pup is ill, or neglects/abuses this puppy in any way. BUYER AGREES THAT PURCHASING A PUPPY IS A LIFETIME COMMITMENT. BUYER AGREES THEY ARE NOT TO REHOME THE PUPPY AT ANYTIME. BUYER AGREES TO CONTACT BREEDER IF AT ANY TIME THEY ARE UNABLE TO CARE AND PROVIDE FOR THEIR PUPPY AND MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PUPPY TO BE RETURNED TO BREEDER WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT OF PURCHASE PRICE. BUYER AGREES TO NEVER SURRENDER IT TO A HUMANE SOCIETY OR RESCUE OF ANY KIND. THIS CONTRACT IS LIMITED BETWEEN SELLER AND BUYER LISTED ON CONTRACT UNLESS SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AND AGREED ON BY BUYER AND BREEDER.
DEPOSIT/HOLDING FEE
Deposit/Holding fee to secure your puppy of choice is $500. It is non-refundable however it can be transferred to a future litter if needed. Deposit is applied to the purchase price of puppy. Deposit payments are generally placed via square invoicing using a credit or debit card, however we also accept Venmo and Paypal.
